Harry Redknapp Advises Angry Tottenham Fans to Give Up Hope on a “Complete Waste of a Player”, Claiming He Has No Business Playing Football After an Unforgivable Performance — Fans Are Furious and Want Him Out of White Hart Lane ASAP

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been left furious with Mohammed Kudus following another disappointing performance during Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road, with growing calls for the Ghanaian winger to be dropped from Roberto De Zerbi’s starting line-up.

Spurs travelled to Yorkshire hoping to extend their three-game winning run in the Premier League, but instead suffered a frustrating afternoon as Noah Okafor’s second-half strike condemned them to defeat and exposed several worrying weaknesses in their attacking department.

While Tottenham supporters were understandably frustrated by the controversial refereeing decision involving Jayden Bogle and Mathys Tel, attention has also turned towards the players who failed to deliver when their team needed them most.

And Kudus has become one of the biggest talking points among the Spurs faithful.

The former West Ham United attacker was expected to provide creativity, attacking energy and the individual quality needed to trouble Leeds’ defence. However, his performance left plenty to be desired, with supporters questioning whether he deserves to retain his place in De Zerbi’s starting XI.

Tottenham Fans Turn Against Mohammed Kudus After Leeds Defeat

Kudus has endured a difficult spell in a Tottenham shirt, particularly after his debut campaign was disrupted by injury last season.

Although De Zerbi has gradually given the 26-year-old opportunities to rediscover his best form, Saturday’s performance offered little encouragement that he is ready to become the consistent attacking influence Spurs desperately need.

The Ghanaian international struggled to make meaningful contributions in the final third and repeatedly lost possession when Tottenham needed someone capable of taking responsibility.

His statistics against Leeds make particularly uncomfortable reading.

Kudus lost 10 of his 13 attempted duels, completed just one of his seven attempted crosses and managed only one key chance created before eventually being substituted late in the contest.

Despite recording 47 touches, he struggled to turn his involvement into anything meaningful, leaving Tottenham’s attacking department looking predictable and ineffective.

For a player expected to make a difference in matches like this, those numbers are simply not good enough.

It is little surprise that sections of the Tottenham fanbase have started questioning his place in the team, with some supporters seemingly losing patience after another underwhelming outing.

De Zerbi Faces Growing Pressure to Drop the Tottenham Star

The biggest question now facing De Zerbi is whether he should continue trusting Kudus or finally give other attacking options an opportunity to impress.

Tottenham have several players capable of offering something different in the final third, and the Italian manager may have to consider making significant changes after the international break.

Dejan Kulusevski is one player who could benefit from a change in the attacking hierarchy, while young Luca Williams-Barnett has also given supporters reasons to believe he deserves more opportunities.

Williams-Barnett replaced Kudus towards the closing stages against Leeds, and his introduction highlighted the possibility of giving younger players more responsibility rather than continuing to rely on senior stars struggling to make an impact.

James Maddison’s absence from the starting line-up also raised questions, particularly given Tottenham’s lack of creativity throughout the afternoon.

The concern is that Spurs cannot afford to keep carrying players who are not delivering consistently, especially when they are trying to build momentum under a new manager.

Kudus remains a talented footballer, but reputation alone cannot guarantee him a starting position.

Spurs Supporters Want a Serious Response After Leeds Defeat

Tottenham’s defeat at Elland Road was disappointing for several reasons, but the attacking performance will arguably concern De Zerbi the most.

The controversial Bogle incident will continue to generate discussions, particularly after Mathys Tel was forced off following the challenge. However, even before that incident became a major talking point, Spurs were struggling to produce the attacking quality required to control the contest.

Their lack of cutting edge has become increasingly concerning, and De Zerbi must find a solution before the situation becomes more damaging.

For Kudus, the coming weeks could prove particularly important.

The Ghanaian winger needs to demonstrate that he can offer more than occasional flashes of individual brilliance. Tottenham need consistency, better decision-making and players willing to take responsibility when matches become difficult.

There is no suggestion that one disappointing performance should automatically end his Tottenham career. However, repeated displays of this nature will inevitably make his position increasingly difficult to defend.

With Kulusevski, Williams-Barnett and other attacking options competing for opportunities, De Zerbi has alternatives to consider.

And if Kudus cannot respond positively, dropping him from the starting line-up until he rediscovers his confidence and form may become an increasingly difficult decision for the Tottenham manager to avoid.
