Walters excited about NFL legend Tom Brady’s visit with the Broncos
When Tom Brady meets one-on-one with the Broncos team, Brisbane hooker Billy Walters will quiz the NFL veteran about the keys to long-term success.
Speaking with the seven-time Super Bowl champion later this month will be the ideal preamble to the Broncos’ March 3 game against the Sydney Roosters at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, in the United States.

In December, Walters traveled to the United States for ten days in order to support the NRL doubleheader that also included South Sydney vs Manly in Las Vegas.
The 29-year-old went on an Allegiant Stadium tour, saw Raiders and LA Rams games in the NFL, and
visited the Rams’ training camp, where the Broncos will be stationed following their departure on February 22.
Additionally, he got to meet Rob Gronkowski, a tight end who has won four Super Bowls.
In the upcoming weeks, Brady is scheduled to travel to Australia for a number of speaking engagements. As a result, the Broncos players will receive unique perspectives from the former quarterback.
Walters remarked, “I’ll be a sponge to soak in his wisdom.”
“He is skilled at winning. I’ll make an effort to learn how he made himself look good and what he did to assist him win.
“I got to meet ‘Gronk’ when I was over in America, which is amazing. They’re probably the only two NFL players I genuinely know, so it’s great to meet Brady now.
“Hopefully Tom can support the Broncos when we’re over there, and even come watch the game.”
During his promotional tour, Walters claimed that rugby league had gained popularity in America.
