Jude Bellingham reacts after Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel imitates the legendary Real Madrid star’s victory lap at the Olympics.
Remco Evenepoel, a Belgian cyclist, imitated Jude Bellingham’s well-known celebration following his gold medal victory at the Paris Olympics.
After taking first place in the men’s road race final at the Paris Olympics, 24-year-old Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel reproduced the famous celebration of outstretched arms that had place in Bellingham. Later, the cyclist’s post was added to Real Madrid’s Instagram story, complete with a gold medal and clap emoji.
Over the course of the previous season, the English midfielder’s arms-out celebrations at Santiago Bernabeu had grown very used to football fans. This was evident in the 2023–24 campaign. The midfielder has previously stated that, despite doing so since his time at Birmingham City, he cannot remember why he began celebrating goals in that way.
After leading the Three Lions to the final of Euro 2024, the 21-year-old took a long holiday and did not travel with the Los Blancos squad for their pre-season tour in the United States.
When Carlo Ancelotti’s team plays Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14, it will be Bellingham’s first competitive game of the new campaign.
