Done Deal: Former Ohio State Buckeyes J.K has signing an three contract deal with….

J.K. Dobbins, former Ohio State Buckeye, signs with the Chargers.

J.K. Dobbins, a former Ohio State Buckeyes running back, has had a difficult time in the NFL.

But he apparently got a new place to live on Wednesday, and he’s about to sign a contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.

It’s a one-year contract, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Dobbins will now be back in Los Angeles with his former offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

After suffering severe injuries early in his career, Dobbins played four seasons with the Ravens.

Dobbins was a huge asset to the Ravens in his rookie campaign, running 134 times for 804 yards and nine touchdowns and collecting 18 catches for 120 yards. But Dobbins would injure his ACL in the season’s last preseason game in 2021, which would prevent him from playing the whole year.

Dobbins experienced yet another setback the very next season when he damaged his knee in Week 6 and spent a significant amount of the year on injured reserve.

Dobbins was in good health and prepared to make a statement in 2023. But Dobbins suffered yet another catastrophic injury in Week 1 against the Houston Texans, eventually being diagnosed with a torn Achilles, seemingly ending his career in Baltimore.

Before becoming an unrestricted free agent, Dobbins ran 234 times for 1,347 yards and 12 touchdowns in Baltimore.

In addition to Roman, Dobbins will be reunited with running back Gus Edwards, a former colleague of his who played running back for the Ravens for his whole career.
